Alvinize your Youtube Songs

have you ever gone on youtube and seen a song that has been modified, in order to sound like Alvin  was singing it? Well here is a tutorial on how to do this. There are many ways to Alvinize your songs but here is the one I use. I use Audacity for my music editing. You can download it for free at:http://audacity.sourceforge.net/. Open your Music file in audacity, or record something. To record you are going to nee to set your mic settings you can do so by going into, edit and then preferences or just go control+P. Then click on the Audio tab. Select your microphone from the drop down menu and then hit ok. You can now record. After you have you voice (this will not work with sounds, only voices) click some where on the recording and hit control+a. Now you should have your recording selected. Go to effects, click change pitch and  change the pitch up to D. Click ok and listen. Enjoy!
