Audio, Video and Text the Three secrets to Sucess!

To make a successful blog you need to have visitors, and what attracts visitors more than rich content? Rich content in my opinion includes three things, audio,video and text. I try to add as much as I can of these into my  blogs. These add a sort of interest factor that can not be achieved otherwise. Audio and video are the top two, but images can do a lot too. Try to include at least one image in each blog post and one video every 5 blog posts.  This will help keep visitors that have landed on your site and therefore reduce your bounce rate.  I want to give some tips on how to add these to your blog in the most effective way.

Text, probably the most common of the three, but none the less one that needs to be carefully created. Try to write in a way to answer as many questions that the user might have. The more information you give the greater the chances are that the user will bookmark your site for future reference. Also make your that  your writing is correctly written, no spelling mistakes  and little grammar mistakes. (I fail at this big time, I am currently re reading my text and checking for mistakes)

Video, The most exiting of the three, is also the hardest one to create, you want to make sure that your video is worth watching, so one of those text to video things is not going to cut it. It does not have to be your video though. You can always go on youtube find a relevant video and embed it to your site. Another important thing is to create your video for a popular site such as youtube, this will allow you to link your video to your site and maybe get your self some visitors.

Audio, first of all I think that links to mp3 files are overrated, they look bad and are unlikely to be listened to. Instead use a audio player that you can automatically embed into your posts. this will make you look more professional and give you a better chance at making traffic.

Now that we have covered all of them, I want to say that these are just guidelines and I know that I wander off sometimes but easily I believe that this will keep visitors on your site.
