Organize Your Posting!

Content is a big part of the reason that you have any visitors at all. So updating it on a regular basis is just as important, visitors want fresh content to look at. At the moment I can only write about 2 posts per week, but I hope to improve this with my new plan. Its quite simple, you want to map out the days that you will write, add media, and review/publish. For example:

Monday: Write the texpost1t for a post in the Tech category.

Tuesday: Add the media for the post you wrote Monday, Ex: pictures, videos, audio

Wednesday: Review your post for spelling and grammar mistakes.  Then publish.

Thursday: write text for a post in Games category.

Friday: Add media

Saturday: Review and publish

As you see this is an effective way to write your posts because it gives you consistency and and enough time between tasks for you to do your best. In fact if you just take some time before you add media you will find that you will add better media and more relevant media than you would if you did it all at one time. Currently I use this system, it isn’t perfect but it gets the job done. I am doing my best to stick to it. Its not very hard to stick to your plan, but you have to fight that urge that tells you to relax for the rest of the day.

At this point I would also like to mention that there will be a Game review coming out every Wednesday, and Blogging/Tech New post every Saturday. Yep that is how I made the system work for me.

  1. Think about a WordPress plugin to publish a post automatically (according to a checbox selection) to Facebook, Twitter, hi5, mySpace, etc wherever, your friends and interests are. This way you can keep in contact with everyone but controlling only one personal blog. At the same time it should get to your blog any comments your friends are making on your other accounts and publish them (maybe only for your own view) on your blog. This should be done through RSS for comments and maybe can include any other posts with some interesting tags, written by friends and others. This would be a better way to capture and archive your activity and any feedback. And I suppose it would be quite a success to write such a plugin…
