WordPress I Phone/IPod Touch app

Well as many of you may know WordPress has an app for the IPod Touch and the I Phone. However is it any good you may ask yourself? And this answer is: Well sort of.

You will find that this is not a remote base of operations you will not be able to change themes, edit them, activate plugins, etc. But then again you wouldn’t expect that from your IPod/I Phone since editing a theme with that small keyboard will cause a stroke. Seriously writing more than a few sentences will kill your good mood for that day. So if you wanted to get an IPod / I phone to be able to Write on your blog from anywhere in the world you will be dissapointed.

On the other hand writing down your post ideas for later is a great idea since you forget most of your ideas before you act on them. But lets first take a look at what IS possible on the app:

1)Checking your Comments

2) Writing new posts

3)Updating/creating new Pages

Once again keep in mind that will not be writing a novel on here. But as I said jotting down your ideas is defiantly a thumbs up. Also the fact you can manage your comments where ever you are is kind of neat. All in all I would defiantly suggest this app for a wordpress webmaster or anyone that is a big fan like me. Is it a necessity? No. But it will help you out here and there.
